Lunch & Learn October Meeting

October 5th, 2009

Invitation from Tulsa Chapter President:

Travis Jones

Travis Jones

Our theme this year is “The Centerpiece of Employment Law” and we began with an outstanding program in Sept on the legal aspects of Social Networking. What a great topic and the attendance was one of the best in a long time. The next three months will prove to hold more stellar topics of interest to our Employment Community. Last month, I mentioned that we were working on HRCI certification credits for our meetings. It looks like that is going to happen, thanks to Monica Maple. We will let you know as soon as that takes place. Our website should be ready for roll-out within the week. You will be able to register online soon. The programs and meetings will be set up to accommodate larger groups quickly for lunch and then get right into the meeting as is required for HRCI credit. The board has worked hard to put together programs that are current. If you have a topic of interest, please let us know. Jude Terrones, with Vanguard, is the program chairman. Membership is important in our association and we look forward to your participation. Mark your calendars on the first Wednesday of each month for our meetings.
