Please join us for TEEOCA’s upcoming Lunch and Learn presentation.  Chris Thrutchley will be covering issues that employers may encounter with the new ADAAA regs.  Some of the important areas will include:

  • Determining what constitutes a covered a disability
    • Actual disability
    • Record of disability
    • “Regarded as” disabled
  • Effectively navigating the interactive process of determining whether a reasonable accommodation exists
    • What is a reasonable accommodation
    • What is not a reasonable accommodation
  • Determining whether an accommodation would render an applicant or employee qualified for the job

Our speaker, Chris Thrutchley is a shareholder and director of NEWTON, O’CONNOR, TURNER & KETCHUM and has advised and defended employers in labor, employment, and business matters for nearly 20 years.
